ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the father of one Ms.Kokila, aged 16 years and 9 months. According to the petitioner, the 3rd respondent has kidnapped her. In respect of the same, a case has been registered. Since, the girl was not secured, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and we have also perused the records carefully.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detenue was secured and now, she is with the petitioner. So far as the 3rd respondent is concerned, according to the 2nd respondent Police, he has been arrested and the case would be altered into Protection of Children from Sexual Offences, Act and further action would be taken in accordance with law.

The said statement is recorded.

4.In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
