This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3, more particularly the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 14.09.2024, wherein the petitioner has sought for cancellation of patta granted in favour of the fourth and fifth respondents with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.J.Pradeep, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 14.09.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law, 2/4

after affording opportunity to the fourth and fifth respondents and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
