ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2026 and for other consequential orders. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the fourth respondent had given a complaint stating that he had invested about Rs.26,26,000/- for exporting of goods, which was not repaid by the petitioner. Based on his complaint, an enquiry was conducted by the Palacode Police. The petitioner was called for enquiry. During the enquiry, the petitioner gave a statement that he would settle an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- at the time of Pongal, and thereafter the balance amount would be settled. Hence, the complaint was closed.
