O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register FIR in respect of the petitioner's complaint dated 4.12.2014 to the Deputy Inspector General, Salem in its File No.H1/24486/433/2014, which was forwarded to the respondent police and to direct the respondent police to conduct an effective enquiry with in a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the material placed on record.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 04.12.2014 by post to the Deputy Inspector General, Salem, which was forwarded to the respondent police. The petitioner is directed to go in person and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

give a fresh complaint to the Respondent police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into in accordance with law, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
