Utkarsh India Limited (Formerly Utkarsh Tubes And Pipes Limited) v. Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (Tantransco)

O.A.Nos.242 and 243 of 2023 in C.S.No.(Comm.Div.).69 of 2023 P.T. ASHA, J, In A.No.242 of 2023, this Court by order dated 23.03.2023 had granted an ad interim injunction directing the respondents to maintain status-quo with reference to their invoking the two bank guarantees which had been offered as securities. This interim order is continuing to date.

2. Considering the fact that there is no serious contest to the interlocutory applications as there is no counter filed to the same and the written statement which was to be treated as a counter also does not contain any serious objection to the same, the interim order granted on 23.03.2023 is made absolute with a direction to the applicant/plaintiff to keep the bank guarantees alive.
