This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register case on the complaint dated 30.4.2015 addressed to the Director General of Police, now pending before the second respondent, and investigate the same, and file final report before the appropriate court of law.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 30.4.2015 petition enquiry is pending before the respondent police.

In view of the said submission, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 30.4.2015, and during the course of the enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. The Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above directions.
