(Order of the Court was made by S.Vimala, J.,) This petition has been filed by the petitioner / mother of the detenue seeking to produce her son, Jeya Sangeeth, aged about 33 years, before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would produce the statement of the detenue, dated 12.05.2018, in which, the detenue has given a statement that he is married to one Sasikala and as it was not liked by his mother, and therefore, the detenue was staying away from the mother and he is staying in the place he liked.

4. The above statement is recorded. As there is no complaint of illegal custody, Habeas Corpus Petition is not maintainable. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. However, if the statement made by the detenue is found to be incorrect, it is for the petitioner to take action in accordance with law.
