The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to grant 2 (two) marks as grace marks towards the petitioner's theory examination of Paediatrics in the III Professional Part II M.B.B.S. held on June 2017 as per Medical Council of India Regulations Chapter IV 13(10) & the Pondicherry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

University Examination Regulations 2009-2010, based on the representation made by him on 08.08.2017.

2. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to get such grace marks as per the University Regulations. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the 2nd respondent University to consider and decide, based on the University Regulations. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
