ORDER
The petitioner and respondent are before the Sub Court at Alandur in H.M.O.P.No.774 of 2022.

2. The petitioner/wife, who is a resident of Cuddalore, seeks transfer of proceedings from the file of the Sub Court at Alandur to the file of the Family Court at Cuddalore. The husband is working in "Dow Chemicals" at Chennai. The wife is working in "L & T Infotech" at Ramapuram, Chennai.
3. The learned counsel for the respondent/husband states that the petitioner and her relatives had assaulted his client, which resulted in a police complaint and the said complaint is still pending. There is also a child from the marriage, who is aged about four years.
4. Taking the overall circumstances into consideration, I am inclined to transfer the proceeding from the file of the Sub Court at Alandur to the file of the Sub Court at Villupuram. Accordingly, the proceeding in H.M.O.P.No.774 of 2022 which is now pending on the file of the Sub Court at Alandur is withdrawn and it shall stand transferred to the file of the Sub Court at Villupuram.

Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
