Petition is filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2015.

ORDER

The second respondent has sanctioned commercial vehicle loan on 07.01.2013 for a sum of Rs.1,41,000/-. The fitness certificate of the vehicle in possession of the petitioner was expired on 28.01.2015. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 13.06.2015 seeking to hand over the permit and R.C. Book of the petitioner's vehicle. As the petitioner's representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

Despite notice having been served on the respondents and the names have also been printed in the cause list, none appeared on their behalf.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.06.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
