O R D E R

It is brought to the notice of this Court on behalf of the Respondent / Corporation that the Petitioner was carefully examined by the Medical Board and the Medical

Board in its report dated 12.01.2015 had stated that the Petitioner's Left Hip Joints and Strength are adequate and that he is fit to resume his duty as 'Conductor'. This fact is not disputed on behalf of the Petitioner.

2. At this stage, the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner brings it to the notice of this Court that at present, the Petitioner is serving as a 'Senior Conductor' in the Respondent's Corporation ever since 18.07.2014 (based Medical Board's Report dated 07.07.2014) Apart from that, it transpires that the representation of the Petitioner dated 19.05.2012 was looked into by the Respondent / Transport Corporation and an order was passed on 29.12.2016 interalia to the effect that the 'the Petitioner's plea for claiming back wages and other benefits is not applicable'.

3. Recording the aforesaid facts, this Court closes the Contempt Petition as nothing survives for adjudication.
