ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 02.02.2026 wherein the petitioners requested that their agricultural patta lands in Survey Nos.433, 465 and 469 more fully disclosed in the prayer to the writ petition, should not be acquired.

According to the petitioners, there is a proposal to acquire lands, which includes the petitioners agricultural lands, more fully disclosed in the prayer to the writ petition for the purpose of establishing a SIPCOT Industrial project. The petitioner seeks a direction to forbear the respondents from acquiring their agricultural patta lands situated in Survey Nos.433, 465 and

469. The petitioner in this regard had submitted a representation to the 4th respondent on 02.02.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 3.

Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1, 2 and 4 to 6 and Mrs.R.Revathi, learned Standing Counsel for

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated above, is directed to be considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.

This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 4th respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2026, referred supra, requesting the respondents not to acquire the petitioner's agricultural patta lands situated in Survey Nos.433, 465 and 469 more fully, described in the prayer to the writ petition, after giving due consideration of the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
