The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's Education loan application dated 30.06.2017 and consequently to disburse the loan amount, as sought for by the petitioner in the Educational Loan Application.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner applied education loan for a sum of Rs.3,77,750/- on 30.06.2017 along with all necessary documents. After receiving the petitioner's application, the respondent had neither considered nor rejected the petitioner's education loan application. Therefore, the petitioner sent another application on 27.11.2017 through registered post and the same was received by the respondent, but till date the respondent has not considered the loan application, hence the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

Despite the name printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondent. Hence, the respondent is directed to consider the loan application of the petitioner dated 30.06.2017 for the grant of educational loan and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
