Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to disburse the amount payable as per the direction of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.201/2016/t4, dated 02.02.2016 and Na.Ka.No.586/2016/t3, dated 16.8.2016.

O R D E R

Heard Mr.A.Sundaravadhanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

2. The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to disburse the amount payable as per the direction of the second respondent dated 02.02.2016 and 16.8.2016.

3. It is not in dispute that, for the works executed by the petitioner, the third respondent owed a sum of Rs.64,575/- (Rupees Sixty Four Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy Five https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

only).

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was paid with a sum of Rs.25,000/- on 17.5.2018 and the balance amount of Rs.25,514/- on 30.07.2018, after deduction of G.S.T

5. In the light of the above submissions, this Court is of the opinion that no further adjudication is required in this writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
