ORDER

(Order was made by Huluvadi G.Ramesh,J.) Mr.Vivekanandan, the District Collector, Dharmapuri District, appeared today before the Court and submits that the order of this court passed in W.P.No.20066 of 2016

dated 01.07.2016, has been complied with. The personal appearance of the first respondent is dispensed with.

2. It is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the construction now existing in the survey number in question is put up by the Government, for the purpose of Bus-stand. He further submits that this Court, by order dated 01.07.2016, directed the first respondent to main status quo, till the disposal of the appeal, filed by the petitioner.

3. Now, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly admitted that the earlier construction put up by the petitioner in the survey number mentioned in the writ petition, is the Government land.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, there cannot be any impediment for further construction of bus-stand in the above mentioned land, which is undertaken by the respondents. Accordingly, the respondents are at liberty to proceed with their project regarding bus-stand.

5. With the above observation, the Contempt petition is closed.
