ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal District Judge, Vellore to number the Crl.MP.S.R.No.1954 of 2020 and further to dispose the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard both sides.

3.It is seen that the petitioner has filed the petition before the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Vellore, for return of his vehicle. But the same has been returned with the following reasons:

"(i)As per G.O.No.216 dated 12.06.2019, how this petition is maintainable in this Court to be stated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(ii)Type of vehicle is not mentioned in this petition.

(iii)C.P.Number not mentioned in this petition."

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as per G.O.(Ms)No.298 dated 13.06.2019, the learned Principal District Sessions Judge has power to deal with such petitions.

5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to re-present the petition, after complying with the return memo of learned Principal District Sessions Judge dated 20.02.2020, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the learned Principal District Sessions Judge is directed to verify the same and if it is otherwise in order, proceed further in accordance with law. 6.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
