ORDER

The petitioner, who is facing trial for the offence under Section 147, 148, 294(b), 341, 324, 120(b), 307, 302 of IPC did not appear before the Page No.1 of 4

Trial Court and a Non-Bailable Warrant has been issued on 29.01.2024 seeks anticipatory bail.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the learned counsel for the petitioner had appeared before the trial Court and he had not absconded.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that due to the non appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court, NBW was issued on 29.01.2024 and the petitioner was declared as a proclaimed offender.

In view of the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner since the warrant was pending for more than a year. However, it is open for the petitioner to approach the learned Trial Court, and seek appropriate remedy in the manner known to law. Page No.2 of 4
