ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to refund the course fee paid by the petitioner for the academic year 2016-17, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.This Court, by order dated 15.03.2018, directed the matter to be posted before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre for arriving at an amicable settlement. In pursuance of the same, the parties appeared for mediation, settled the dispute between them and filed a joint memorandum of compromise dated 11.04.2018 to that effect.

3.As per the mediation report dated 11.04.2018, enclosing the joint memorandum of compromise filed by the parties, the petitioner and the second respondent have entered into a settlement and the second respondent has paid a sum of Rs.1,28,000/- to the petitioner on 10.04.2018 by way of cheque bearing No.012844 dated 09.04.2018 drawn on Indian Bank, Ambattur Industrial Estate Branch, which was received by the petitioner as full and final settlement against the claim made in the writ petition.

4.In view of the settlement so arrived at between the parties, this writ petition stands disposed of, in terms of the joint memorandum of compromise filed by the parties. The said joint memorandum of compromise dated 11.04.2018 shall form part of this order. No costs.
