PRAYER This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking Writ of certiorified mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned Circular vide Proceedings No.A1/6921/ 2014/GA dated 22.04.2016 issued by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct them to restore the earlier practice that has been prevailing in Chennai Port Trust with regard to the attendance.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed the by petitioners, seeking to quash the order dated 22.04.2016, made in Proceedings No.A1/6291/2014/GA, passed by the third respondent, and for a consequential direction to restore the earlier practice prevailing in the Chennai Port Trust with regard to attendance.

2. The learned counsel appearing on either side submit that the Aadhaar numbers have been linked and, therefore, the cause does survive, and the matter has become infructuous.

3. Though the matter has become infructuous, this Court emphasise that the personal details of the petitioners found in the Aadhaar card are not shared with anyone in violation of the relevant Act.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
