This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent, viz., The Sub Inspector of Police, Maruvathur Police Station, Maruvathur, Perambalur District to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 30.05.2016 and investigate the case by the 2nd respondent police viz., The Additional Deputy Superintendent of Police, Perambalur, Perambalur District and to file a final report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the basis of the complaint dated 30.05.2016 given by the petitioner, FIR has been registered in Cr.No.191 of 2016 for the offences u/s 294(b), 323, 506(2) IPC and Sections 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Ordinance, 2014.
