ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case on the petitioners complaint dated 07.02.2013, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the material placed on record.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the respondent Police, submitted that the petition enquiry has been conducted on the complaint dated 07.02.2013 given by the petitioner and they have called for records from the complainant, it has not been received.

4.Under such circumstances, the petitioner/ complainant is directed to co-operate with the police for enquiry and the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
