ORDER

From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent, it is seen that so far no FIR has been registered against the petitioners. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further submitted that, in spite of summons issued on 21.01.2026, the petitioners did not appear before the respondent police to cooperate with the enquiry.

2. In such view of the factual position, this Court is of the view that the matter can be disposed of by directing the respondent police to proceed with the enquiry by following the ratio laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Satender Kumar Antil v. Central Bureau of Investigation, reported in 2026 INSC 115 and 2025 SCC Online SC 1578 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

3. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
