PRAYER:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2021 and consequently direct the respondent to grant computerized patta and chitta in favour of the petitioner in respect of comprising in survey No.276 to the extent of 1.71.0 acres situated at Onnalvadi Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2021 and consequently direct the respondent to grant computerized patta and chitta in favour of the petitioner in respect of comprising in Survey No.276 to the extent of 1.71.0 acres situated at Onnalvadi Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

This Court by an order dated 12.04.2022 issued direction to the respondent/Tahsildar to consider the representation of the petitioner for issuance of patta. In pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the said representation was rejected by the Tahsildar, on the ground that the petitioner had encroached the water body. The petitioner sought for patta in the water body. Therefore, no further order is necessary in the writ petition.

3. Accordingly, this Writ petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
