O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the III Fast Track Court at Saidapet to complete the trial in C.C.No.1512 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a complainant in C.C.No.1512 of 2018 pending on the file of III Fast Track Court at Saidapet for the offence under Section 138 of N.I.Act. The complaint is in respect of dishonour of two cheques dated 25.09.2017 and 25.11.2017 for an amount of Rs.5 Lakhs. The complaint was taken on file during the year 2018. The petitioner had let in evidence in chief on 12.02.2018. The respondent has not filed any application for quash or there is no stay of the complaint. Further despite the evidence being taken on 12.02.2018, there is no progress in the case. Thereby, the present petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Trial Judge to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.

3. It is seen that the petitioner had let in evidence in chief on 12.02.2018 and still there is no progress in this case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the above, direction is issued to the learned Presiding Officer, III Fast Track Court at Saidapet, Chennai to complete the trial in C.C.No.1512 of 2018 and deliver the judgment as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
