ORDER

The petitioners apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 109 of BNS, equal to 294(b), 323, 307 IPC in Crime No.63 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners attacked the de facto complainant with a knife. Hence, the case.

3. From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police, it is seen that the first petitioner is a historysheeter and there is no previous case against the second petitioner. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further brought to the knowledge of this Court that the injured is still in the hospital and that the investigation is at a preliminary stage. In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 05-03-2026 cda
