This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in crime No.1 of 2014.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is seen that, the case relates to an offence under TNPID Act involving around 475 depositors to a tune of Rs.13crores. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the police for a time bound investigation. However, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation in accordance with law.
