PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 4th respondents to consider and take necessary steps to issue free house sites pattas to the petitioner under the scheme of Adi Dravidar Welfare in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2023, subsequently allot me "Adi 1/4
Dravidar Colony" including those who aggrieved and don't knock at this Court in accordance with law.

ORDER
With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner herein had given a representation to the respondents on 01.03.2023 seeking for issuance of free house site patta in his name under the Adi Dravidar Welfare Scheme. Since the said representation was considered till date, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the scheme available for allotment of house sites to the members of SC and ST community and the lands being available under the scheme, the 2/4
respondents have not initiated any effective steps for allotment of the same.
4. In this background, this Court is of the view that the respondents may consider the petitioner's representation and if the petitioner is found eligible, favourable orders may be passed by the respondents.
5. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
