[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in Cr.M.P.No.05/G/2017/E1 dated 29.05.2017, against the detenu by name, Karikalan, aged 30 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
years, S/o.Marimuthu, residing at Door No.27, opposite to Gas Bunk, Nallampalayam, Sanganoor Post, Coimbatore District and quash the same.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked by virtue of passing G.O.Rt.No.2542 dated 29.05.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted, wherein it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been revoked.
3. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
4. In fine, this petition is dismissed.
