Prayer : This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is filed under Section 19(1) of the Family Courts Act, 1984, read with Order 41 Rule 1 C.P.C., against the order dated 09.02.2021 made in M.P.No.962 of 2019 in M.C.No.82 of 2017 on the file of the III Additional Family Court, Chennai.

J U D G M E N T

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by V.M.VELUMANI,J.] The present appeal is filed challenging the order dated 09.02.2021 made in M.P.No.962 of 2019 in M.C.No.82 of 2017, directing the appellant to pay a sum of Rs.12,000/- per month as maintenance to the respondent from the date of the application. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the appellant/husband submitted that pending appeal, the respondent gave false complaint against the appellant and his family members. In the Criminal O.P.No.23057 of 2021 filed by the appellant and his family members, this Court, by the order dated 08.12.2021, granted anticipatory bail and directed the appellant to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- as maintenance to the respondent through her Bank Account No.855352176, Indian Bank, Ayanavaram Branch, Chennai, on first week of every Month of English Calender until further orders passed in M.C.No.82 of 2017.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the appellant may be directed to continue to pay the sum of Rs.10,000/-, till the disposal of Maintenance Case and a direction may be issued to the III Additional Family Court Judge to dispose of M.C.No.82 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible. 4.Recording the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the appellant and respondent, the appellant is directed to continue to pay the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the respondent as per the order dated 08.12.2021 made in Crl.O.P.No.23057 of 2021. Both the learned counsel appearing for appellant as well as the respondent submitted that in M.C.No.82 of 2017, trial commenced. The learned III Additional Family Court Judge, Chennai is directed to dispose of M.C.No.82 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

With the above directions, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
