Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in O.P.No.19163 of 2017 of this Hon'ble High Court order dated 22.09.2017 in Crime No.2037 of 2017.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.D.ARUN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. K.MATHAN, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent-State.

2. This Court, on 22.09.2017, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on certain conditions that they should report before the concerned court at 10.30 a.m., and before the respondent police at 06.30 p.m., for a period of four weeks.

3. After their release on bail, the petitioners have appeared before the concerned court at 10.30 a.m., but they did not appear before the respondent police at 06.30 p.m., on the ground that the police were threatening them that they would foist more cases against them. Therefore, the petitioners have filed the present petition for modification of the condition relating to the reporting before the respondent police at 06.30 p.m., The modification application came up before this court on 24.10.2017 and this court has passed the following order: "Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner has not even complied once with the order passed by this court and has not reported before the respondent police at 6.30 p.m.,

The matter is adjourned to 31.10.2017. In the meantime the petitioner shall report before the respondent police as directed in the earlier order dated 22.09.2017"

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks modification of the aforesaid condition.

5. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that pursuant to the above direction issued by this court, the petitioners have appeared before the respondent police for one week.

In view of the above submission, the condition relating to the reporting before the respondent police at 06.30 p.m., is relaxed and the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. Rest of the conditions imposed in the order dated 24.10.2017 shall remain the same. -sd/- 31/10/2017 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
