Today, when this Contempt Petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents, submitted that the order of this Court dated 03.03.2021 passed in W.P.No.13376 of 2015, has been complied with. To fortify the said submission, he produced a copy of the order dated 19.04.2023 passed by the Joint Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Chennai-16, in and by which, the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2015 to fix his seniority on par with his batchmates selected during the years 2001 to 2003, has been rejected as per Section 40(6) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016, stating that the said request is not feasible for consideration. The petitioner has also acknowledged the receipt of the said proceedings on 28.04.2023.
