The Administrator General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu, High Court Campus, Chennai - 600 104 Respondent On representation of counsel for both sides, this case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.S.Packiaraj the learned counsel for the Applicant and Mr.M.Jagadeesan, Additional Deputy AGOT are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both the parties along with their representatives are present. 2.They have amicably settled the rental dispute that had arisen between the parties. They have come out with the following terms of settlement: "the applicant agreed to pay a monthly rent of Rs.6,342/- (Rs.4 per Sq.ft for residential portion and Rs.4.50/- https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis per Sq.ft for Commercial portion=1150 Sq.ft * Rs.4= Rs.4,420 + 427 * Rs.4.5=Rs. 1922 ) for 3 years with 10% enhancement

M.JEYAPAUL, J. (Retd.) rst/ssi of rent on monthly rent every 3 years for the property belonging to the Trust Estate of Ponnambalam Pillai at Premises No.80/20/2, Kanakkar Street, Thiruvottriyur, Chennai -19, w.e.f the date of signing the settlement and to deposit ten times of the agreed rent as Rental Advance (Rs.63,420/- minus Old Adv Rs.6144/- + ED Rs.500/- = Rs.56,776/-). The Applicant has agreed to pay the difference of the Rental advance on or before 31.03.2022. 3.In view of the above settlement arrived at by the parties, the above application stands disposed of.
