This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the trial court for speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No.32 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate II, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The petitioner is an accused in C.C.No.32 of 2024. The petitioner filed a discharge petition and it is pending before the Trial Court. At this juncture, the petitioner filed this petition for speedy disposal of the trial.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the Judicial Magistrate II, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.32 of 2024, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
