Order The petitioner seeks a mandamus to the respondent to consider and pass orders on his representations dated 02.01.2026 and 25.02.2026.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was working in the respondent-Corporation and retired from service on 31.03.2011 as a Superintendent.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that, though the dearness allowance was revised from 45% to 51% with effect from 01.01.2011, he has not been granted the benefit of the revised dearness allowance and his dearness allowance has been calculated at 45% which is the rate payable prior to 01.11.2011. In this regard, the petitioner had made representations to the respondent on 02.01.2026 and 25.02.2026. Since the same did not evoke any response, the writ petition has been filed. 4.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Taking note of the statutory revision, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to pay the eligible amount payable to the petitioner along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
