ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the wife of Sakthivel. According to the petitioner Sakthivel has been missing from 20.06.2016 onwards. On a complaint made by the petitioner, a case was registered in Cr.No.1072/2016 for "Man Missing". So far, he has not been secured. This is the grievance of the petitioner.

We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and have perused the records carefully.

From the affidavit filed by the petitioner, it is crystal clear that it is not the case of illegal confinement. It is a simple case of Man Missing and rightly, a case has been registered and the case is under investigation. Therefore, no relief could be granted in this petition. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation.
