This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred, to call for the records pertaining to Cr.No.963 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had given a complaint against the 2nd respondent. Subsequently, the 2nd respondent has also given a complaint and on the basis of which, the present FIR has been registered.

3. On perusal of the FIR, it is seen that the petitioner and the 2nd respondent have given complaints in respect of the offence which was said to have occurred on 20.09.2020. It is a case in counter and two FIRs have been registered on the complaint given by two opposite parties, with regard to the same occurrence. Hence, the 1st respondent police shall follow the standing orders given in the Police Standing Order 566(2) and investigate both the cases simultaneously and file a report by finding out who is the aggressor.
