ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2021 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the Respondents 1 & 2.

3. Since, no adverse order is being passed against the 3rd respondent, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that after the demise of her husband, the petitioner had purchased the one property, in respect of which, her elder son namely Anbarasu, had executed a sale deed in his favour and driven the petitioner out of the house. As the petitioner is 67 years old and none was there to take care of her, she made a representation dated 18.02.2021 to the 1st respondent under the Senior Citizen Act which was forwarded to the 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 12.07.2021, pursuant to which, the petitioner was called upon for the enquiry and

accordingly, the petitioner appeared for enquiry. Thereafter, till date, no orders have been passed by the 2nd respondent. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed.

When the matter is taken up, learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 submits that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, petitioner's representation was considered and an order has been passed. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that order copy has not been furnished to the petitioner. Hence, the respondents are directed to communicate the order copy to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs. 22.06.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NHS
