ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to subdivide the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition in favour of the petitioner and thereafter, issue separate patta in favour of Page No.1 of 4

the petitioner for the sub-divided property, based on the petitioner's application, dated 04.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner seeks for sub-division and for issuance of separate patta. She had submitted an application on 04.11.2025 with the respondent for the said purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner's application as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom the respondent deems it fit to enquire,within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's application, dated 04.11.2025, seeking for sub-division and issuance of separate patta in the name of the petitioner, for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom the respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
