PRAYER:

Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 to punish the respondent for the wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in WP.No.790 of 2011 dated 05.01.2012. For Petitioner : Mr.G.Appavu For Respondent : Mr.Richardson Wilson, Government Advocate

ORDER

This Court passed an order dated 05.01.2012 in WP.No.790 of 2011, thereby directed the petitioner to present the sale deed to the respondent and 1/3

upon his representing the sale deed also directed the respondent to receive the same and examine the document in accordance with the above provisions of the law and thereafter, take action. It was further directed that if there can be no valid objections, the respondent shall register the document within a period of two weeks and return the same to the petitioner. This Court also noted that if the respondent has any objection, he shall record the same and communicate it to the petitioner within a period of two weeks.

2. The Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the order passed by this Court in WP.No.790 of 2011 dated 05.01.2012, has been complied with by the respondent by order dated 19.07.2021.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this contempt petition is closed.
