Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for records pertaining to F.I.R.No.71 of 2020 dated 25.01.2020 on the file of the 1st respondent Police and Quash the same.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to call for records pertaining to the case in Crime No.71 of 2020 dated 25.01.2020 on the file of the first respondent Police and quash the same.

2.It is stated that the case in Crime No.71 of 2020 was registered on the basis of the complaint given by the second respondent herein is a case in counter to Crime No.70 of 2020 registered at the instance of the petitioner herein. Therefore, both the cases are directed to be investigated by following the guidelines issued under Section 588(A) of the Police Standing Order and thereafter, complete the investigation and to file a final report.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent/police submitted that the investigation will be completed within a period of three months. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the same, this Court directs the respondent/police to complete the investigation, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
