ORDER
This writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the first and second respondents to take appropriate action to cancel the dealership awarded in favor of the third respondent for running a retail outlet at Kathankadai Junction, Kadalur Village, ECR Road, Chengalpattu District.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent does not have the minimum educational qualification of passing the 10th standard. The third respondent has provided false information and was awarded the dealership based on that.
3. Per contra, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of first and second respondents would submit that the petitioner's bid was rejected and he may not have locus standi in respect of the same. He also submits that complaints have been received against the third respondent both from the petitioner and another third party. They will conduct an enquiry as per law by giving a new opportunity to the person who filed the petition as well as the third respondent and pass orders in accordance with the law.
4. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission 2/5
stage without notice to the third respondent. It is made clear that this Court does not decide anything relating to the allegations made against the third respondent.
5. By recording the statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the first and second respondents that they will take up the complaint for investigation, conduct an enquiry in accordance with the law and pass final orders thereon, this writ petition stands disposed of. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order. No costs.
