ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records in Na.Ka.No.3181/2011/A2 dated 12.7.2011 on the file of the Sub Collector, Dharmapuri and quash the summons.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C. is valid for one year. He has further submitted that the proceedings against the petitioners under Section 145 Cr.P.C. was initiated on 12.7.2011 and hence, the period of one year had already lapsed. Therefore, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
