This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in crime No. 66 of 2024 on the file of the respondent.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 28.02.2024, One Balashanmugam and his wife Suganthi committed suicide by consuming poison due to business loss and indebted to several persons and they died on 01.03.2024. Thereafter, the case was registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C based on the complaint of the defacto complainant and subsequently it was altered into Section 306 IPC against the petitioners.

3. Heard both sides.

4. On perusal of the suicide note, it shows that due to the harassment made by the petitioner to pay more exorbitant rate of interest thus they had committed suicide. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 04.04.2024 pbl https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
