O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the Peace Committee members to quash the minutes of the Peace Committee which was held on 12.05.2014 in so far as the condition imposed on the petitioners that the respondent Nos.3 to 5 names have to be printed in the public notice as they are the Committee Members in the Thiruvizha Arulmigu Sri Dharmaraja Koil Mahortsava Agni Vasantha Thee Puguvizha.

2. According to the petitioners, the Peace Committee meeting was held on 12.05.2014 by the first respondent. In the said meeting, a decision was taken that the name of the respondent Nos.3 to 5 also to be printed in the public notice as they are Committee Members in the Thiruvizha Arulmigu Sri Dharmaraja Koil Mahortsava Agni Vasantha Thee Puguvizha. Their further contention is that already the respondent Nos.3 to 5 have filed a suit in O.S.No.183 of 2014 on the file of the Sub-Court, Arakkonam and also filed an application seeking interim injunction in I.A.No.97 of 2014 and the same was dismissed on 30.04.2014 and that being so, their names cannot be printed in the public notice.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the respondent Nos.3 to 7 have submitted that during pendency of this petition, the names of the respondent Nos.3 to 5 were printed in the public notice and function also celebrated in the year 2014 and therefore, the petition has become infructuous.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
