Respondent in both W.Ps Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta to the petitioners based on separate representation dated 26.02.2018 in their names in respect of the land of an extent of 1512 sq.ft., and 1455 sq.ft., respectively in Plot No.5 comprised in Survey No.169/2 situated in Kavundampalayam Village, Coimbatore within a time frame. For Petitioner (in both W.Ps) : Mr.K.Dilipraja For Respondent (in both W.Ps) : Ms.S.Ramya Revathy, Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to issue patta to the petitioners based on the individual representation dated 26.02.2018 in respect of the land of an extent of 1512 sq.ft. in Plot No.5 and 1455 sq.ft. in Plot No.

8 respectively comprised in Survey No.169/2 situated in Kavundampalayam Village, Coimbatore within a time frame. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners claim to be owners of Plot No.5 and 8 respectively comprised in Survey No.169/2 situated in Kavundampalayam Village, Coimbatore on the basis of registered Sale Deeds dated 24.09.1990 registered as Doc.No.5644/1990 and Doc.No.5645 of 1990 before the Sub Registrar, Vadavalli. The learned counsel further submitted that though the petitioners have purchased the properties for valuable consideration, they have not taken immediate steps to obtain patta. However, have given individual representation dated 26.02.2018, which was also received in the office of the respondent on 28.02.2018.

As there was no response, the petitioners have come to this Court by filing these Writ Petitions.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that sufficient time may be given to consider the petitioners' representations for issuance of patta. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' individual representation dated 26.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and do the needful within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With this direction, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
