The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to settle one time payments of the entire retirement benefits of the petitioner enhanced dearness allowances with Gratuity + Provident Fund Rs.7,07,508 + September month deduction amount sum of Rs.3114/- Totally Rs.7,10,622/- + SSS Fund + Commutation + EL surrender + Monthly Pension and other attendant benefits and enhanced dearness allowances along with 18% interest on delayed payment from 30.09.2019 to till date of disbursement of the terminal benefits to the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner joined Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation in the year 27.11.1999 and worked as a Driver. Subsequently, he got superannuated after completing 18 years of service on 30.09.2019. However, after his retirement, the respondent has not disbursed the terminal benefits and other benefits to him. the petitioner made a representation dated 22.11.2019, before the respondent, however, since the representation being made, no action was taken by the respondent. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the Transport Corporation is ready to settle the terminal benefits, which the petitioner is entitled for and request eight weeks to comply the same.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above submission made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, this Court directs the respondent/Transport Corporation to settle all the terminal benefits payable to the petitioner along with 7% interest for the belated payment from the date of retirement to till the date of payment, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
