The petitioner herein is an accused in Spl.Sc.No.12 of 2023 on the file of Mahila Court, Chennai, is before this Court to quash the case on the ground that the victim girl and the accused have compromised the issue and it was broken love affair led to the complaint. 1/3

This Court on perusing the statements of witnesses annexed along with the final report is of the view that it is not a case to be entertained under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to quash on the ground that victim girl and the accused has compromised the issue. Party has to prove his innocence in the manner known to law. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
