This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 554 days in filing the appeal.

2. Mr.Murali Vinoth, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, delay is condoned. C.M.P.No.6987 of 2025 is ordered.

5. The Registry is directed to number the civil miscellaneous appeal and list the matter for admission, if it is otherwise in order.

6. It is made clear that the petitioner/claimant is not entitled to claim interest for the delay period of 554 days on the enhanced award amount in the event of her success in the appeal.

7. The Registry is further directed to print the name of Mr.Murali Vinoth, as counsel for the respondent in the cause-list at the time of admission.
