Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/contemnor.

2.The Managing Director of the Kancheepuram District Consumer Cooperative Wholesale Stores Limited

is present before this Court and it is submitted that the cheque has been drawn in favour of the petitioner for Rs.6,98,725/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Ninety Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Five only) dated 24.11.2016 has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner and the same has been accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3.Recording the same, the Contempt Petition is closed.
