This petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.269 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent to the file of the third respondent for time bound investigation.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has stated that already the matter was transferred to CBCID based on the order of the Director General of Police, Tamilnadu, Chennai vide https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

RC.No.112856/Crime (ii)/1/2015 dated 17.07.2015. As per the proceedings of Additional Director General of Police, CB CID, Chennai in Rc.No.C5/01241/2015 dated 25.07.2015, the Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch C.I.D., Villupuram Range, Villupuram, was nominated as the Investigating Officer and he is investigating the case.

3. Since already the case was transferred to CBCID, recording the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the criminal original petition is closed. However, the concerned CBCID police is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report before the concerned court as early as possible.
